Stop what you are doing and call him now! Bert and his wife Pam are exceptional realtors. I first contacted Bert in 2018 when I initially began the process of buying a home. I was clueless. I had no idea what to do or how to do it. Bert literally wrote me a list of the steps I needed to take to start the process. I did as he recommended and applied for a loan, went through the approval process and once I was approved, I called him back and told him we would have to wait due to an unexpected drop in credit score. He understood completely and did not push me or try to change my mind. He honored my decisions and I was glad. This showed me he was trust worthy and honest. Fast forward to 2019, credit score was higher and the loan we got approved for was significantly better than last years. I called Bert and sure enough, he proceeded as he had last year; informative, step by step instructions, recommendations for neighborhoods in our price range and the offer to see a house whenever we needed. We showed up to our first showing and I couldnt believe the information he was providing us all by simply looking at a house. Bert is so experienced in his field that he knows what the home inspectors are going to look for and he was even able to flag trouble spots before the inspector completed his inspection. As buyers, we might be looking at the aesthetic and functionality of the house, but Bert looks at the bones. He can identify if foundation repair is needed, water damage, possible mold, cracks in the walls, outlets out of code, wiring out of code, plumbing problems, and many other things that will affect the overall well being of the home. He must of showed us at least 20 houses, treated us to lunch twice, and provided us with a boat load of knowledge as first time home owners. He is available through text, phone call, and email and responds quickly. If you are currently with a realtor and they are simply providing you with details about the aesthetics of the house, run! Run as far away as you can while you call Bert. This man will not let you down and you will be 100% comfortable signing the papers to your new house because Bert did all the hard part! If I could give him 1,000 stars, I would. Go call him TODAY!
