Phyllis Johnson is one of those rare people who views her work through a lens of service and care. She saw us through some of the most challenging house sales of our lives as we helped elder members of our family move from their homes into care. She understands the emotionality of these sales and the transitions we were experiencing. I will never forget the patient and loving way Phyliis answered my 90 year old mom's questions. Additionally, Phyllis is saavy, responsive and just plain knows her stuff. She listens deeply and provides information for every question no matter how small. Having served the SML community for so long, Phyllis has a strong network of resources which helped us in a number of ways. And Phyllis and Casey make a great team! Phyllis goes above and beyond and facilitated a number of needs we know she simply did because she thought it would help. I only wish that when the time comes to sell my home in NC, I could work with her. You just can't do better than Phyllis.

I just bought a home in the Smith Mountain Lake area, Moneta, VA, with Phyllis (PJ) as my Buyer's Agent. It was a 7 hour trip (or more) for me to look for homes in that area. I spent one day looking at homes with her two weeks ago, then drove back three days ago to look at one specific home I found on the Listing website. In fact, I made an electronic Purchase Agreement offer sight unseen with PJ's assistance, subject to my inspection two days ago. Before I got there, I had an agreed upon contract by the Sellers. The home was mine if I wanted it. I bought it. It was just what I wanted.I cannot say enough about PJ's efforts, time devoted to me, and her many referrals for people, businesses, and support in that area. I now consider her a good friend. I inundated PJ with emails before I bought the home, and am still doing so. She was excellent in her responsiveness and information provided. Phone calls too.I will recommend PJ to everyone I meet in my new area, both as a Listing Agent and as a Buyer's Agent. She is the Best. A local friend I know in my new area recommended PJ ... he said she was the Best. He is right.
