Let me start by saying that I had asked an acquaintance who had once worked as a realtor whether she could recommend an agent to me. She gave me the phone number of Mary Grant. Mary and I met and got to know one another, but it was several months later before I decided I was ready to place my home up for sale. Mary proved from our first meeting that she knew the real estate business . She won my trust after listening to me and then coming up with a recommended plan. When I met with her several months later my needs and goals had changed. She proved to be devoted to me as her client. Her patience and flexibility in helping me understand the market were key to our success. She did not dictate to me, but shared with me facts about the market and supported it all in detail with a portfolio of homes currently on the market, the pluses and minuses of my house and the best way to present it. She worked with my schedule, never failing to adjust to me as the client. Long and short of it, we had three offers in about 5 days after it was placed on the market. She worked with me to get all the details attended to, was a liaison as we worked out the issues and challenges with perspective buyers. She never got edgy, even if I was feeling the pressure. I could not have asked for a more professional, knowledgeable person to have brought me through the entire process from the first day to the last. I had friends who when they learned I was selling my house, insisted they know an excellent realtor and before I go any further, to please let them give me her name. I told them I would check back with them before I signed any papers . About a month later I let them know I was ready to listen to them, but doubt I will change my mind. As it turned out they were telling me about Mary Grant. Now I knew for sure I had the right agent.I do not have one negative to say, nor do I have one recommendation on how she could have done anything differently. I was not an easy client, as I was moving out of a home and then moving to another state. So many unknowns and so much pressure to deal with alone. But Mary was always there for me If anyone wishes to contact me with specific questions, I welcome them.
