When I first decided to put my house up for sale, I thought I had to do a "sale by owner". I had only lived in the home 2 years and didn't think I had enough equity in the home to pay a realtor. Mary and Cory asked if they could present a market analysis to me. I thought they were wasting their time but agreed to the meeting. I am glad I did. Their suggested list price was well above what I was going to list it for; so much so that I could pay their fee and pocket a little extra. At first I was a little skeptical thinking they were over-inflating the list price just to get the listing and then would drop the price when it didn't sale. Regardless, we agreed to list with them because I really didn't want to do it alone; however, I did list it less than what they recommended. I wish I had listened to them. Within the first 2 days we had 4 really good offers! We accepted a full price offer and one backup offer. I am so glad we had Mary to help us through the whole process. We had some complicated issues and Mary went above and beyond to help us and answer all our questions. She would even call in experts (Broker, Insurance Agent, Lawyers, etc) to solidify answers so we didn't have to just take her word. Even with all the issues we had, we still closed on time thanks to Mary's hard work. And she didn't stop helping us after closing. Several days after closing when our insurance company needed closing papers in order to send us a refund, she was happy to send the paperwork for us. I would highly recommend Mary and Cory Cheramie to anyone!
