Darren was awesome! The first thing I'd like to highlight is his responsiveness and flexibility. We were trying to buy quickly in a competitive market and being able to see houses at the drop of a hat was key, especially when they were reviewing offers upon receipt. Many times we would see houses the same day they came on the market or at least within 24 hours because Darren made himself available to do so.Also, Darren was patient and was respectful of our wishes. When we had to bail on a previous property due to inspection/disclosure issues, he did not try and pressure us to move forward. He helped us get the information we needed and when it didn't work out was enthusiastic about continuing the search.Lastly, Darren is easy-going and easy to be around but will still give you his honest opinion about red flags on houses. The home inspector and sewer inspectors that he uses are cream of the crop and will not lead you astray. Darren was consistent to the very last day, acting aggressively on our behalf to help us to close early and move-in early. Even when the deal would assuredly go through regardless, he went above and beyond to help us.

Darren helped my husband and I buy our first home. We were not in the local area, or time zone, for much of the search so Darren coordinated with my father to look at houses over multiple months. He often skyped myself and my husband in, and made arrangements multiple times to look at places on short notice when I came into town or when a house came on the market. We appreciated his perspective regarding the quality of the homes we were looking at, including electrical panels and renovations. His knowledge of the local area based on his previous work as a firefighter really helped us narrow down our search and we felt that we had a good idea of the type of neighborhood we were buying in due to Darren's expertise of the local area. Darren communicated effectively amongst all parties involved in our house search and handled our atypical situation as if he had done it before. He was available and responsive to questions/concerns and ready to go look at houses when we saw them. We appreciated his perspective regarding homes we looked at, but ultimately felt that we were in control and able to buy the best house for us at a price we wanted. We really enjoyed our search with Darren and felt that he was integral in us purchasing our first home.
