Matt and his associate Bryant Gentry helped me while I was on a house hunting trip to Hartford City, IN. On 11/5/2013, I saw Matts name while looking at houses (foreclosures) on the Zillow website. I reached out to him and he contacted me the next day. I explained that my father and I would be visiting the area for a house hunting trip in his area and wanted to view some houses on 11/7/2013-11/8/2013. We arranged for Matt or his associate (Bryant) to meet us on 11/7/2013 afternoon. Bryant spent the afternoon with us and helped us get into the houses we were interested in. We made a decision to bid on one house that day (a foreclosure). We were told that Matt and Bryant would help us submit a bid for that house on 11/8/2013. However we were told that in order to submit a bid for this HUD home that would first need to get a pre-approval for financing on this house, get an insurance estimate, and get a check for an earnest deposit, which we all of those and we were ready to submit the offer. Therefore, on 11/8/2013, Friday night, we drove out to their office in Winchester, IN to submit the bid. We sat there in the car outside their office waiting for them for hours. Then they finally called us and told us they were working on getting the papers to submit the bid. Finally, several hours later, they called and said that there were computer problems and they would not be able to do it that night. They explained that because of the nature of the bid that they would not be able to proceed until Monday 11/11/2013 (we were flying out late that afternoon). Monday came and we were contacted just before we had to leave for the airport and told that they would help us submit the bid over the phone the next day. Now, on 11/14/2013, I sent a text asking about the status and was promptly told they were still waiting on forms from HUD. A few hours later they called and said that they would not be able to submit the bid for us for a few weeks and gave us a name of someone that could do it quickly. On 11/15/2013, we reached out to the other agent (from another company) and they immediately checked on it and saw that there were several bids on that house and began the process for submitting the bid, but said that it was too late that the other bid was accepted. In summary, Matt was in contact with us throughout this ordeal, never showed up in person, sent his associate to do the footwork, then never delivered on his promise to submit the bid. I believe that we were purposefully mislead and that they knew they would never be able to submit a bid on that house, they were just stalling us all along! Now this trip has cost us over $1,000.00 dollars, airfare, hotel, car rental, and my vacation time, and we didnt even get to submit a bid on the house, and the house was sold as they were stalling us! Very unprofessional!

We decided to try to sell our home late in 2014. We live in a very rural area, and it is very difficult to sell a home out here where we live. The house across the road from us has been for sale for over eight years, having had a for sale sign in the yard since before we moved out here. It still hasn't sold. Matt brought a buyer to the table less than two weeks after we listed the house. Through the entire negotiation phase, Matt was competent, accesable, and professional.
