We give Scott Furman and his team at Re/Max Classic in Wayne PA a 5 out of 5 rating. Scott was particularly honest and forthright in dealing with us. This was the fourth house we had bought and sold, and, while we have had no bad experiences, his handling of the listing and sale was the best. Several things stood out. First, he was honest about his view of the value of the house without pushing to sell at a particular price. Second, he recommended that we have a rigorous pre-inspection, something we had not done before, and address all issues prior to listing the house. Third, he placed a aEUR~coming soon sign on the house that ultimately speeded the sale once it did come on the market about 10 days later. Fourth, he was thorough in screening the financials of the buyer so that we felt comfortable accepting the first offer and taking the house off the market during spring aEUR~prime time for home sales. Finally, Scott arranged for someone to view the house during the aEUR~coming soon period and we signed the agreement of sale (with no inspection contingencies) on the afternoon before the house was officially up on MLS. Ultimately zero days on the market, sold at our asking price. In a tough market, what could be better?
