Thanks to Sofia I am now a first-time home owner. She is a very experienced, patient and hard working agent. She always answers my questions. She even replies my texts after 1 am. ( i work swing shift). She would point out things (both good and bad) that sometimes I would miss, so that you have a full picture of the potential home you're looking at and make your own final decision. She has a great team behind her, making the whole process easier and faster than I imagined. I was able to sign most of the offering and counter-offering documents just by opening emails from my phone and click through it. When I first tried to sell my Chino Hills property back in March of 2019, I signed the listing with another real estate firm which only charges 1% to sell the house. I thought I would save money on commission. Yet, the agent listed my house on the market for over six months and did not get it sold. Instead of saving money, I lost eight months of rent. And eventually, I took the house off the market and re-rented it. A few months later, I received a call from Sofia asking if I would consider selling the house again. I answered aEURoeNoaEUR?. Honestly, I did not want to risk losing more months of rental income in exchange for another no-sell. Back then, Sofia was a total stranger. She was just one of the hundreds of real estate agents who called me trying to get the business. However, I saved her contact only because she was easy chatting. When she talks, she sounded like an old friend, not a salesperson. Earlier this year, I did change my mind and wanted to sell the house again. But this time I had one problem; the house was occupied by a tenant. I did not want to force the tenant out during the pandemic, because I knew it would be hard for them to find a replacement house to move to at this time. So, I made a phone call to Sofia and explained to her about my situation and concerns. I told her that the only way to sell the house would be to find an investor who would take over the tenant and assume the lease. Sofia did not promise me anything, but she accepted the challenge. With doubts in my mind, I signed the listing with Sofia. Within three days, the house was made active on the market. And immediately, Sofia organized a showing event for the upcoming Saturday afternoon. At that moment, I was not overly optimistic because I knew my tenant would not allow Sofia a second time to bring outside people into viewing his home (which was fully understandable since we are still in the middle of a pandemic). So, Sofia only had four hours to show. The four-hour open house event was successful; it drew over nearly 40 groups of buyers to view the house. Sofia did a great job arranging and controlling the traffic as she made sure everybody followed the Covid-19 protocols when entering the property. Right after the open house, we received five offers. Each every one of them offered a price above my asking price. But what really surprised me was that Sofia found me that ideal buyer who was an investor, willing to take over the current lease, and also buying with all cash. When the escrow closed after a week, I was likeaEUR| aEURoeWow! Thats unbelievable!aEUR?. Indeed, the entire process was a surreal experience because it only took two weeks from the date the house was listed on the market till the date escrow was closed. People may say it was the hot marketaEUR|, yes, that could be too. However, I also believe part of that was attributable to having a good agent to represent me. Although it was my first time dealing with Sofia, her profound knowledge, experience, and professional attitude really impressed me. For the first time, I felt like I could completely trust an agent. From the beginning to the end, Sofia knew exactly what I wanted as a seller. I'm satisfied that she was very protective of my interests. She provided her opinions and advices but never pushed me in making any decision throughout the entire process. Overall, Sofia is a good agent that is hard to find. She's a high-efficient agent. I bought my house in Dec. 2017, due to the seller's situation, we need to enter and close the escrow in a very short time, I think I couldn't do that without Sofia.
