A friend recommended us Shannon Smith from Red Cedar because we were just getting out of a weird situation with a previous realtor (5+ years working together). After we ended up backing out of what we thought was going to be our dream home, we decided to contact Shannon and take it slow and easy....fast forward, 3 days later Shannon was helping us put a very competitive offer for our amazing dream house! We are incredibly glad that things worked out this way! Not only she helped us with walk-throughs and offers, but being an older house, she also helped us immensely navigate the very crucial home inspection waters. Today, my family is living in this house which we absolutely love more every day.And not only that! Shannon helped us sell our old home! And we are now extremely glad we did. Shannon Smith and Red Cedar are a small company with young (and very energetic) people that truly understand how the market works now (especially the internet presence). Upon initial contact we started working (admittedly a little reluctant) with home "renovations", such as paint, carpet and others, to make the house more marketable and appealing to home buyers. These recommendations simply were trying to put our house on par (or slightly above) with the current market in the area. After working through all this process, the house was ready and once again Red Cedar managed to surpass exceptions. Their photos are NOT from smartphones, they brought a group of expert photographers who really new what they were doing and the final product was amazing. In the end, and thanks in HUGE part to Shannon and her wonderful team, we had a GREAT (really, really great) offer just 2 days after we hit the market!Thank you Shannon! Shannon was absolutely fantastic! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to sell a home. Just to start, I need to mention that in less than 24 hours we had three strong bids on the house, two for asking and a third actually was higher than asking. I believe her strong knowledge of the market combined with her preparations was foundation of the excellent results.From the very first meeting, we had a walk through and broke down expectations, current market conditions, return on investment repairs and so many other aspects. During the whole process, she was always informing me of the next few steps so that I would be completely ready and transition smoothly without any surprises.
