Kevin helped me to sell my condo after a long, frustrating period of time trying to work with another agent. Kevin had intimate knowledge of my condo complex and dealing with the HOA and Property Management company, which helped to expedite obtainment of key documents and deciding on a realistic listing price based on comps in the complex and the condition of my unit. Kevin was proactive from the very first meeting we had, suggesting simple & cost effective, yet valuable upgrades to my unit that would make it stand out from the moment a prospective buyer approached the building and throughout their walkthrough of the interior. Since he already knew the color codes from the HOA, he met me on day 2 to help me restain our front and back porch as well as touch up the paint chipped railings that were an obvious eyesore overlooked by my previous agent. He also repainted my front and back doors and helped me hang a few cabinets in the bathrooms! Kevin helped to expedite an interior paint job, a new carpet install, and staging the unit, which all resulted in an extremely quick turnaround from when I parted ways with my previous agent to when he relisted the unit and made it ready for showings again. He maintained the utmost honesty and integrity throughout the process, and kept me informed of progress via text, email, and phone calls depending on the topic and its urgency. I was comfortable and trusting of the information and advice he provided every step of the way. Ultimately, Kevin brought me two competing offers, which were both at or above our asking price at the time, and he was able to help me close very quickly with a qualified buyer. I greatly appreciate all of Kevin's efforts from start to finish, and would recommend his services to anyone looking to sell (or buy) in the Austin area. Simply put, we would HIGHLY recommend working with Kevin Haines! We couldn't have been happier or more satisfied working with Kevin who is super smart, extremely hard working, and most importantly very trustworthy.We were interested in purchasing an investment property in Austin and my wife's colleague referred us to Kevin. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and actually never made it out to Austin before Kevin helped us purchase a duplex in North Austin and so this should say a lot about the tremendous relationship Kevin built with us. When I first spoke to Kevin over the phone, we talked for almost and hour and I immediately got the sense that Kevin knew what he was doing and was someone we could trust and rely on. We used Realty Austin (specifically Kevin Haines) to sell our house in October 2021. Kevin was professional, responsive, and fun to work with. He definitely gave us the white glove treatment, as my wife and I had already moved out of state and were no longer occupying our Texas house; Kevin would consistently go to our property to water the lawn, coordinate lawn care services, and generally check to make sure everything was ok with the house. While the house was on the market, Kevin was communicative (but not annoyingly so), and never pressured us into taking an offer we weren't fully comfortable with. It really felt like Kevin as on our side and had our best interests in mind - it didn't feel like he was chasing a commission check.
