I personally recommended Dave to my friends and coworkers who are looking to buy a house because I had such a good experience of working with him. I was a first-time-home buyer and looking for a house in $1.5-2.5M budget in Kirkland or Bellevue, and Dave helped me find a house I loved even in this historically competitive seller's market.Before deciding to work with Dave, I interviewed more than 10 realtors who I sourced all through personal referrals. After the interviews, I chose to work with Dave because of the following reasons:- He has been a professional realtor for decades and has owned a house in Kirkland himself- He knew the subtle differences between the neighborhoods that were close to each other geographically but had unique characteristics (e.g. South Rose Hill vs North Rose Hill or Somerset vs Eastgate)- He committed to staying responsive and showing the listings to me himself instead of delegating it to his coworkersThe experience of working with him for a few months to find the house I loved confirmed that I made the right decision. He did these following things:- He honored all the commitments such as showing the houses himself so he could point out the pros and cons of each house to me- He always stayed responsive even outside of business hours and I never had to wait for more than an hour to get a response- He never failed to book an appointment to show a listing we were interested in- He never discouraged us from bidding even if I wanted to offer less than the market value sometimes just to try my chancesWhat is more outstanding is he did these following things even after the deal was fully closed:- He helped me communicate with the sellers post transaction for various reasons- He offered help in our house remodeling, such as finding reliable contractors and overseeing the contractors' progressI believe his experience in real estate and deep connections with local realtors played a crucial role in my successfully buying the house I loved.
