A very unprofessional agent in our experience buying/sellingIf you're looking for an agent that will call you on a regular basis, come to your home, sit down with your family, show you all sorts of statistics...until you sign a contract to list your home with her, you found the right person...it all goes down hill after you sign a contract:- Unless you're selling a high-end home, she will pass your listing down to one of her many "Team members" - new agents trying to learn the business. - She will not show your home or do open houses, she will have one of her helper agents also cover that for her.- no negotiation on your behalf, she will just list your home on MLS and hope that a buyer's agent find it- If you're ever lucky to get a call back from her, she will put you on hold while talking to other people in the background and your conversations.- Most, if not all paperwork will have mistakes, make sure you review every page multiple times, don't depend on her to do it right. - If there are any issues she will push them back to you to research, even if there are issues a Real Estate Agent should help you address.- Be prepared to offer your own suggestions on negotiations, she wouldn't.Since the sale of our home was pending, we felt we had to continue using her as a Buyers agent to avoid any aEURoeissuesaEUR? with the sale of our home. - Once again incorrect paperwork- Even though her comps might be lower, she will not try to negotiate a better price for you, instead she will say things like aEURoewell maybe youre looking at homes you cant affordaEUR? that will be her tactic to get you to come up on your offer price. - Sends her helpers to show you homes and if she ever shows up, she's usually late and offer no advice or suggestions, she will be too busy on the phone arguing with other customers. - If you ever question anything her canned response is aEURoeI'm the #1 agent, I sell number of homes every month, I know what I'm doingaEUR?- As your agent, dont expect her to show up at your closings either.In summary, we closed on both homes but it was a very unplesant experience. A very unprofessional agent in our experience. Youre buying/selling a home, its important to you, find an agent that wants to help you get through the process.
