When we decided to sell our home, our son gave us Lori's name and contact info. She was a blessing from the start. After living in this home for 32 years and raising two children here, one could only imagine how much stuff we collected. Lori came over one day a week for several weeks and helped me clean out one side of the basement. This was before the virus shut everything down. She took two whole carloads to the donation center. Lori also took pictures of our home, both inside and out, and placed them on Zillow. Not only did she take pictures when she first listed our home, she updated pictures of the outside with the change of seasons. I am mostly referring to our zoysia grass, which looks like straw in the winter but goes to a bright green in the summer.I am 75 and don't get moving fast but Lori started the ball rolling and kept edging me on to get rid of more stuff and start packing what we were keeping into a pod-like container outside. This made our house seem larger, which also helps with the sale. We only had two couples view the house, mostly due to the public's fear of the coronavirus and uncertainty about their income. The second couple, first-time home buyers, came back with a remodeling contractor for another look.This was in early April and it wasn't until June that they decided to make us an offer. The sale was pending but the young couple noticed some fine cracks in the mortar joints of a foundation wall. Their agent informed Lori that they were concerned about the wall collapsing and insisted on a professional inspection. Lori called us and immediately gave us the name of a structural engineer. He came out the very next day to check it in the presence of the buyers and assured them that it was nothing serious. Then they wanted to pay much less than what we were asking but Lori persisted in keeping them interested till until all of us were in agreement on the sale price. I definitely would recommend Lori to anyone planning to sell real estate.
