My husband I decided we need to downsize our home so our son said itwas a good idea to place it with a local real estate agent. Nothing reallymaterialized with this relationship. In the meantime, we relocated to North Carolina and left the house on the market. After 3 months we were discouraged at the progress we made and our daughter said that someone she worked with had Stephen Simard and he sold her home promptly. I got the name and called and told him we were now out of state and still trying to sell our home. He said "No Problem" so he faxed us a contract, got access to the home and started marketing it. He had a few lookers but no offers. One family was interested in the home and the location and still had a home to sell out west. Steve and this familycame up with an offer for us to lease the home to them for six months.They would pay the home expenses plus an amount to us for monthly rent. We went along with this plan and of course they needed to have itinspected and various other things came up that needed someone at thehouse. Steve said "No Problem". I can sit in your home and let the workers in and do my own work at the same time. This happened andthe family was in the home by the holidays. About 4 months later, thefamily sold their own home out west and closed on our home with alawyer who had power to attorney to act on our behalf and Steve. Everything went according to plan with Steve taking up any slack on ourbehalf. Steve Simard is a Real Estate Professional who will go theextra mile to sell your home. My husband and I were glad we chose Stephen to help us sell our house. He was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns throughout the entire process. He conducted open houses and was very responsive to perspective buyers and their questions. About a month after our house went on the market we moved into our new home, which was about two hours away. Stephen checked on the property -- both inside and out -- throughout the winter months. He set up and coordinated the repairs requested by the buyers. In addition, as we were out of the area, he went to the house when the repairs were being done. Stephen is both professional and personable. He is patient, understanding, kind and steady. Every real estate deal has its challenging moments.
