Tracy, who was representing the buyer and myself (the seller), arbitrarily and independently, without contacting me or the buyer, moved our settlement date up a week. I found out in an email from the titling agency the day before I was expected to close. This date wasn't discussed or agreed to in writing, per the contract, and caused me to lose several hours of work. The home sale was out of state, approximately 100 miles away, and zero consideration was given to my schedule especially since I made arrangements to be present in person for the settlement the following week. I found this to be unprofessional, inconsiderate, and completely avoidable had the terms of the contract been adhered to which stated an earlier settlement could occur if agreed to in writing. If the effort had been made to communicate an earlier settlement with me it would have been known that I wasn't in a position to support it, something I communicated multiple times when I found out, instead I was forced to move forward with closing early so they could all get paid early.Furthermore, I received the paperwork for Maryland state tax exemption the day after settlement which was supposed to be submitted 21 days prior to settlement.

Tracy was amazing with us we were buying a house from Hawaii sight unseen. She listened to what our needs, wants, and desires for our home. With her local expertise and attention to detail she created extremely refined lists of homes for us. She carefully advised us on local market considerations and commuting patters. Once we selected the house she moved fast to get our offer in. The house was on the market for 3 days with 17 offers. Her market knowledge allowed us to win the bid. She recommended an outstanding mortgage company and was relentless in getting this fixed while under contract. We closed on the house. Thats not where her help and assistance stopped. Over the last 2 weeks shes come by to see how things were going and provided local contractors for the work that I wanted to get done on the house. I cant thank her enough for how complicated our situation was and the peace of mind she provided.
