Debbie Reid has years of experience working with Casper real estate. She and her staff calmly and patiently explained to me the many steps involved in selling a house, and she clearly explained how she priced my house. She and her staff gave me realistic, accurate estimates of how long it typically takes to sell a house, and how long it typically takes to complete each of the steps to closing the sale. They suggested worthwhile, practical improvements to "curb appeal" before even putting the house on the market--it sold in 4 days, so the effort paid off. They provided sound, experienced advice on contract negotiations. They handled the contract paperwork accurately, promptly, and conveniently mostly via email, which was very helpful as I was already working out of town. They were very helpful suggesting, scheduling, and managing local contractors needed for minor repairs; again, this was especially helpful as I was already out of town. When they said they would schedule, prepare, or respond to an issue by a certain time or date, they did so: reliable, thorough, professional.

Worst realtor ever. Sure, she has fancy clothes and an expensive car, but she wouldn't know a good quality home if it bit her. And her home inspector was the worst of all. We were moving to Casper from far away and were duped into using her when I contacted her about a beautiful house on Goodstein Dr. (This home just so happened to have sold about 6 months previous and this home still shows up from time to time in a zillow search). Now that's a great way to get new clients. Bait & switch. My family and I spent a week with her looking at homes, telling her what we wanted and didn't want. We thought we were on the same page. On our way back to our home we saw a new listing come up that looked good in pictures, was the right size and in the right area of town. We asked her to check it out. "Oh, it's beautiful," she says. "And it's really been updated well with quality furnishings." She talked us into putting an offer on the home sight unseen (against my better judgement). FYI....We are not new to buying a home. We've bought and sold a half dozen homes in the past 20 years. Long story short, the house is a fixer upper that we over paid for. The total opposite of what we were looking for and had discussed. Things that were wrong with it even my 8 year old child picked up on during our first visit to the home. I truly believe she was just looking for a pay day on the commission. The more we pay for it, the more she gets. Beware who you trust. She has cost me and my family a ton of money, stress and anguish over this experience. By the time I sought legal help, we were too far in the deal to get out. If you're reading this, Debbie, please remove us from any mailing lists and don't ever try to contact us. You are not welcome anywhere near my family or our home.
