We requested through USAA a real estate agent who shared our interest in endurance sports (running, triathlon) and Cindy Wild was a perfect fit. During a 1 week visit, she showed us a number properties on the Kona side where we thought we might want to buy a second home that would eventually be where we'd move full-time in a few years. She was very patient and honest in providing positives and negatives for each one. When we found what we believed to be the right place, she helped us put together an offer that was substantially lower than the asking price but the seller accepted, to our surprise. Then we were even more impressed with her thoroughness and how easy she made things during closing (home inspection, title, signing paperwork, answering a bunch of our questions) while we were back on the mainland. We would definitely recommend her to all our friends and anyone interested in buying property on the Big Island, esp. buyers who are not onsite.
