My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Andy while buying our first home in Brunswick, ME. We felt extremely comfortable with Andy and he trekked all over the Mid Coast area with us to find our ideal home. He was patient, knowledgeable, and steered us in the right direction when we were in unfamiliar situations (many of which you find yourself in when you are buying your first home). When we found the home we wanted he was able to write up an offer and negotiate for us that day. He also helped us find other great professionals like a mortgage broker and home inspector which we were very pleased with. One of the main things I was afraid of when buying a new home was that I was going to feel pressured into something I wasn't sure of. I can't say enough of how comfortable I felt with Andy and he never made me feel pressured during any part of the process.

We had a long, complicated buying/selling journey when we moved to Maine, which included buying a house we didn't plan to stay in. Our stay there ended up shorter than we anticipated, so we tried to avoid an agent in order to minimize the loss. A few months in, Andy approached us with a no pressure, straight-forward, relaxed attitude that convinced us it was time to sign him up. He guided us through which updates made the most sense and how to make it more appealing. And he helped us price the house right where it belonged. Despite being a higher asking price than we paid, we had a full price offer the first weekend. When issues came up (that were missed when we bought the house), he was on top of it all and took care of everything - even finding and scheduling a contractor. I had had agents in the past that I enjoyed working with, but Andy made me realize how much easier the process can be when your agent is willing to take on the whole project. He was very proactive and never seemed to mind dealing with the little annoying details. He has also shown us a few properties for my mother-in-law, who will likely work with him when the time comes.
