We were on our home buying journey with Dan Swanson for close to 3 years! Back in 2019, when my husband and I were contemplating a move out west, we met Dan through a friend, who graciously took us around Denver to show us the different neighborhoods and housing options in effort to help us imagine what it would be like if we made the move. Having no guarantees, he took his time with us sharing his personal & relatable experience living in CO and was both optimistic yet honest about all the considerations we would need to make before settling down in Denver. Over the following year, and onset of the pandemic, Dan continued to stay in touch and even helped get eyes on rental that we secured on our own as we prepared to move site unseen. At that point we knew that whenever the time came that we were ready to invest in a home, we wanted to work with Dan who not only had a trusted understanding of the area and housing market but who we knew was committed to seeing our journey through to the end. That time finally came this past fall. After we had just re-signed our rental lease for another year, Dan sent a life changing text about a new house that just hit the market which he thought was perfect for us aEUR" and it was! On a whim we went to check it out that afternoon and by the next day we found ourselves putting down an offer. At every step of the way Dan and his team was there for us. He made himself available morning, noon and night to answer our questions, secure necessary approvals aEUR" quickly, and used his experience with new home buyers to share helpful tutorial videos that walked us step by step through the process. Dans negotiation strategy and approach was bar none aEUR" and what got our offer accepted over the many, many other aggressive offers that were submitted. Through it all, Dan was cool, calm, and collected and always remained positive (especially when we were not). I'm thrilled to say weve now been in our new home for 5 months and couldnt be happier. I think back to our home buying experience and am so grateful for Dans patience and commitment towards us. Over the last few years, Dan has become more than our realtor aEUR" hes become one of our first true friends in Denver.
