Our family recently relocated to the Asheville, NC area. We decided to work with Katie after she was recommended to us by a coworker. At the beginning of the home buying process, we told Katie what we were looking for in a home and a price point. She was able to find several properties that fit our profile. We spent several days looking at properties in and around Asheville. The first day we met Katie to look at houses, she showed up with a folder with all of the properties we were scheduled to see along with refreshments and even a toy for our 3 year old. During this part of the process Katie was spot on with her assessment of neighborhoods to include the evaluation of the local school districts and traffic patterns/commute times to work and home. After looking a several houses we found a house that checked all of our boxes. We called Katie and told her we wanted to put an offer on the house we liked the most. Katie got on it right away. She had the offer prepared and sent to the seller's agent asap. She represented us well and offered solid strategies to negotiate the best price. Once the offer was accepted, it was on to the due diligence process. Katie explained this process in detail to us and knew several professionals in the area to inspect the house. She was able to schedule a home inspector, roofer, plumber, and electrician in no time. Katie was present during the inspections and gave preliminary feedback in real time. During the due diligence process we had several issues and questions pop up. Katie was on top of things and was able to answer our questions and and negotiate repairs before the due diligence process ended. Afterward Katie helped us get everything in place to close on the house. We have moved a few times and know it can be a stressful time during a relocation. Katie made our home buy process a pleasure! Katie's organization skills and customer service are A+.
