Chelsea consistently went above and beyond to help us find and purchase a home in Portlands competitive housing market. Working against a very tight deadline and moving with our parents in tow, we had complex needs in a city with an abundance of ADUs, but few suitable options within our price range for long-term, multi-generational living in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Chelsea was a wealth of local knowledge and was able to help us find a home meeting exactly the criteria we were searching for in a perfect neighborhood. Chelsea was very organized and was able to expedite the home inspection and sewer scope, and gave sound advice for negotiating the sale and concessions following the home inspection. When the homebuying process was at its bleakest and most uncertain, Chelsea provided a reassuring presence and advocated for us to ensure we received the best possible terms. We were ultimately able to get the house we wanted despite competing offers. She took the initiative to get bids from several contractors for issues revealed during the home inspection to help inform our request for a concession from the seller. This resulted in us recouping a large portion of the necessary expenses, keeping the house from exceeding our budget. Again, this was all done against a tight deadline. Even after the sale, Chelsea has continued to help us navigate getting those repairs done with her extensive contacts here in Portland. She really does know everyone.
