As first time home buyers we were nervous about the process of looking for and buying a home. Bob and his team put us at ease immediately. They started looking for houses that fit our criteria immediately and showed us a range of options without ever being pushy. Bob was always easy to get a hold of and very responsive to answer a question, set up a house visit (or second visit) and was very patient while we figured out exactly what we were looking for. After searching for a few house and putting a bod on a house that the seller ended up taking off the market (the bid went against Bob's recommendation- we should have listened!) we found the perfect house for us. Bob helped us negotiate a price, find an inspector, lawyer and bank to work with us on the mortgage. We not only enjoyed spending time with Bob, we also have come to respect his opinion on all things related to buying the house (he has even recommended a contractor since then!). We wholeheartedly recommend Bob and his team as they all made sure we were very well taken care of.

Bob Scanlon was our agent for a home we purchased in Oneonta in January 2019. After our excellent experience with Bob, I can say that the Scanlon Home Team of KW Upstate NY is the only group I would work with locally. Bobs knowledge of, and experience with, the local market is unparalleled. We shared our wish list, budget, and preferred locations with him, and he helped us compile a comprehensive list of homes to check out. He spent countless hours visiting and revisiting potential properties with us until we found the perfect one. We hit some snags with some of the sellers people through the course of this process, and Bob worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help ensure the deal ultimately happened. We couldnt be happier with our new home, and we have Bob and Nancy Scanlon-and the rest of the Scanlon Homes team-to thank.
