We met Andy at an open house about a year and a half prior to purchasing our first home. He gave us his business card then and we began the process of searching for the perfect place to call home. Our search was very long and Andy showed us houses from Cazenovia to Syracuse, always within our budget and keeping our key requirements and interests in houses at the forefront of his mind. He enlisted us in the automated system that generates houses that come across the MLS based on interests, budget, etc. but then went out of his way to send us additional houses that he knew of, whether they were For Sale By Owner, or outside of the neighborhoods we were looking in, to keep us abreast of all of the options available. I would consider Andy extremely responsive and knowledgable about any and all questions we asked along the way (and trust me, there were many)! He would text us until midnight and pull in different members of Hunt Realty when needed to help us move the process along faster. When we put our first offer in on a house he was great with negotiation. He understood our price point and additional needs and discussed how our offer could fall through if we ask for too much, but encouraged us to ask for whatever we wanted. He had numerous conversations with the sellers agent on our behalf right down to the closing when there were still items remaining in the house that we didnt want. Andy is not only a great realtor, but a very ethical business-oriented person as well. Along the way, of all the houses that were not perfect for us, Andy never tried to encourage us to put in an offer. Instead, he took our key likes and dislikes about homes we looked at to search for better options for us. I couldnt be happier and will definitely use Andy again when selling our home and purchasing our next one.

I had the good fortune to be referred to Andrew Alpern when I was selling my home in 2021. I had previously worked with another realtor to find a suitable home to buy before selling my existing residence. I had however discovered that my needs and interests were not being appropriately met. When I was able to go elsewhere I soon found that Andrew was definitely the one to use. He listened attentively, showed authentic consideration and caring and was always available if there was a need to connect. His advice on how to present the house, the photographs bt a skilled photographer and online copy ensured that the showing on the first weekend would be successful. We received several offers above our asking price and yet Andy continue to see if there might be another offer When the highest cash offer was accepted we thought the closing would be relatively simple and quick. Unfortunately our attorney had an unexpected medical crisis . Instead of accommodating his needs which were not anticipated, the buyers realed completely misrepresented her client. This was revealed by sellers attorney later. However at the time her lack of professionalism created great stress. Andrew was continually patient supportive and honest. His professionalism was in sharp contrast with that of the buyer's agent I can say without reservation that Andrew Alpern is one of the best realtors in town. Whether selling or buying, you will find your needs met with an attentive and authentic professionalism
