Searching for a home was not new for us. We have worked with many realtors throughout our lives. Steve Norton will be our realtor from now on. He walked us through the process of buying a house and selling our house, allowing for many conversations concerning what exactly we wanted. He showed us a variety of homes to begin with, as we requested, to make sure we were absolutely comfortable and confident with our final decision. We put offers in on more than one home and had to make decisions about negotiating or letting the house go. He was so knowledgeable about options. He also had a very respectful and gentle way of making sure that we were well informed and making the decision that was right for us. It was and is a pleasure to work with someone that has respect for you and knows how to talk through things you might not understand. We looked to Steve to be the expert, which he was, but he made sure to educate us so that the decisions we made were decisions from a complete understanding of what was transpiring.Along with helping us purchase our home he helped us seek out companies to work on our new home. He has answered many questions for us since moving into the house. We believe he will be the person we use for all our real-estate needs.

Steve helped us buy our very first home. We did not have a huge budget, but he treated us like any other client. From our first meeting to closing, it was a really short period of time. He was always sending us links to properties that might work, staying within our budget, quickly setting up showings, etc. If he couldn't personally make it to a showing, he had one of his associates take us and they always did a great job. When we finally found the property we wanted, he helped us move quickly and negotiated a really great price that left us with plenty of money to do the renovations we wanted. Because we paid cash, he helped us accomplish a two week closing, quickly linked us with a competent inspector, and coordinated the closing at a location that was convenient for us. We plan to stay in this home for several years, but when it's time to move on, Steve will be the first person we call!
