We talked to Raquels assistant almost weekly keeping us up to date. She is very nice. Raquel is very nice. We think she did a good job but got the impression the last 2-3 months she was getting tired of trying to sell our property. When we got an offer she told us it was a good one even though it was a lot below our asking price and she didnt ask if we wanted to counter just said the buyer wouldnt pay more. Ignorance on our part for not insisting on countering. The only counter was closing cost. We did tell her we would only pay half. We felt pressured to accept the offer. The buyer wanted an additional piece of property next to ours that we didnt own. It belonged to our niece but Raquel said if he couldnt have it he didnt want our place either so she suggested we talk to our niece about it. We told her that she would have to talk to our niece.
