Michael helped us sell our home; by that, I mean he facilitated the session with the photographer. We had to circumvent him and go directly to the title agency, buyers agent, and eventually random other employees at his firm that were unrelated to the sale, after unsuccessfully chasing him down for hours or days when timeliness was crucial. When he responded to our voicemails or texts, it was only to put us off and never follow up. We had to rely on Katy (sp?), an employee at his firm, to get ANY updates when the buyers lender needed following up, and eventually defaulted to circumventing him completely. At several points in the buying and selling of our home, his unresponsiveness could have cost us the contracts on one or both homes. When we received an offer, we notified HIM, not the other way around, and he did not offer any advice in negotiating or accepting/ declining, even when we asked straight out. He only gave noncommittal, sometimes and maybes, and answered our questions with the same question back. It was like talking to a Magic 8 ball. He gave the impression that he just wanted to take the first offer received in a highly competitive sellers market, without advocating or negotiating to get the best offer possible. Our realtor for BUYING OUR NEW HOUSE, and the title agency used for that transaction, were more instrumental in moving the sale along than Michael was. When we were forced to book a hotel room and delay the closing on our new home due to problems with the title agency he recommended, we were notified by them, Katy, and our buying realtor a full hour and a half before he told us, after we would have already had to check out of our hotel room or pay for an additional night. We paid Michaels team almost $15,000, of which I assume he personally received the lions share of as both broker and realtor of the sale, for him to be literally useless. One of the most frustrating parts of the whole ordeal was that we initially were using a different (read: more responsive, helpful, and by all appearances knowledgeable) realtor at his firm, but he stepped in and said he would be taking over the sale. If he didnt have the time to professionally negotiate and manage this sale, he should not have steamrolled in and taken over in the first place.

Natalie Patten was our Realtor for the sale and purchase of our homes, she handled both with superior professionalism, knowledge, and expertise! The sale of our home was out of the County that Ms. Patten primarily deals with but she did not allow that to slow her down, she did her research and put in all the necessary effort to overcome that small barrier, she had 5 offers on our home in the first day, granted we sold our home in a highly desirable area, hoever, she was still able to navigate the sale with great skill, finding us the perfect buyers. We did have a small hitch during the sale and again Ms. Patten stood firm and faced the adversity head on. During the purchase of our new home she was quick to get the sellers motivated to accept our offer and to walk us through the entire process, she took our calls, listened to our concerns addressing them immediately, and she made the very stressful situation of a buy and sale at the same time.... more bearable!! Let it be known Ms. Patten has impeccable negotiation skills! All I can say is without Ms. Patten we most likely would have given up, retracted on our sale/purchase and stayed in the home we outgrew long ago! Shes the true meaning professionalism and comfort in a world we think has really started lacking great customer service. We owe Ms. Patten our sincere gratitude!
