Desiree is a GREAT agent! I figured I would start my review this way since it is the most important thing that everyone must know. My experience with Des started while I lived in Lehi Utah. I lived 3 hours away from Vernal. I knew buying a home here was going to be difficult. I was on the lookout for an agent that was going to be sensitive to my situation and the difficulties that came with living so far away and having such a busy work schedule. Ive had my share of dealing with difficult and uncooperative agents so I was worried about choosing someone that would act that way. I found Des on the internet along with a few others. After contacting the other agents I decided I liked Des the most. She was great on text and email. She was raised here in the basin so she knew a lot of local information. She made herself seem very available and willing to work with me and my situation. We met her at the New Star office in Vernal. We met a few of the other agents as well who were also great people. At this point I started feeling very comfortable and that I was in good hands. We sat down and told her what our wants and needs were. She got together a group of houses we could look at when we made the drive out here. Those houses didnt work for us. Des had a great attitude and understanding of why they didnt fit us and pressed on. Over the next few weeks as houses got listed Des would go to the house and walk through it with us over facetime. WHOS DOES THAT?! What an amazing level of customer service! She made it possible for us to virtually look at houses without having to drive across the state. That helped us eliminate choices down to the house we now live in. We didnt like the price of the house and thought we should get it for less. Des was very confident in the process since she has been through it so many times which helped put me at ease. She helped us in our price negotiation as we went back and forth with the bank that owned house. This was the phase of the house that made me nervous. Des constantly kept us in the loop and was very responsive with our questions and answers. I thought this whole process was going to be a nightmare, but thanks to Des it was a fun and enjoyable process. I have recommended her to many others since including my parents. She is an amazing agent and I am so grateful for everything she did for me and my family!
