This year, I had the pleasure of working with both Matthew and Holly Salgado from New Age Signature Properties as our buying agents.This was my wife and Is first home buying experience. We arent the most fluent on the subject of buying a home and any other sales agent could have easily put the blinders on and lead us to a shamble of a home, without us even knowing it.But thats not the experience we got from Matthew and Holly. We had a more than fantastic experience from start to finish. They were both honest, humble, and helped educate us on properties every step of the way. We learned about different types of foundations, the dos and donts of house maintenance and so much more. They made it clear in every home we visited that we knew what wed be getting ourselves into and werent afraid to express their own opinions on the property and share their real life experiences with buying, selling and flipping. You name it and they have probably done it with 150% effort ??The best thing of all was that their goal wasnt to simply help us buy any old property on the market, but to help us make an investment on our future and to purchase a home that we will love and improve upon in the years to come.I can say now weve been recommending them to our friends, well before we found a home, and will continue to after we close on one. We are a strong-willed family of three, that committed to working with Matt to find our first home. We are happy that our colleague referred us to Matt. Honestly, the only reason I rated Matt a 4 in negotiation skills is because I actually did not witness the negotiations he did behind the scenes. He kept us away from the drama and updated on what we absolutely needed to know. In the end, we are very happy with the choices we made. Matt was super patient with my stubborn approach to getting exactly what I had envisioned in a home, my husbands eagerness and belief that he is an HGTV star, and my three year old daughters presence, every step of the way. He was realistic, straight to the point, transparent, and detailed to the point that any first-time buyer would not get overwhelmed.
