My husband and I were looking for a house that would give our 4 children enough space at a reasonable price. We had gone through a couple of agents who were more interested in trying to sell us a home that they had listed then what we actually needed. We had decided to look our self and set appointments on our own. I called Katie for a property that she had listed. Instead of just setting an appointment for us, she decided to get a little bit of information from me to see if it would be a fit for our needs. While on the phone, she was jotting down notes about our family size, budget and what we 'needed' and 'wanted'. Katie then told us that the home we had called about was a fixer up that needed alot of work, she did not think, based off the information that I had given, that this would work. She asked if she could do some research on a few properties in her database and get back with me. Of course, in the midst off all this conversation, Katie kept the conversation personal and related in all aspects! It was wonderful to have an agent who cared more about what we wanted and needed then just 'getting the sale'. We looked for about two months, suggestions from Katie, and she also took suggestions from us, no problems there! In the end, we ended up choosing a house that was actually out of our "area", but for the space we needed and the budget we were on, it was perfect! Katie helped with every step of the process......She helped with the financing contacts, the insurance contacts, and she even gave mini lessons on things that we had no clue about! She was GREAT! I still call her to this day to let her know how things are going with the family and the house! Katie is more than just an agent, she becomes your friend and sometimes your counselor, especially when you get stuck on what kind of house you REALLY NEED! I could not have asked for a better agent! Compassionate, Respectful, and very involved with her clients, and believe me when I say, neither my husband nor I are the easiest clients, we are both picky in our own ways!!!! Thank you Katie, you are wonderful!
