The sale of our property in Camarillo presented unique challenges as it was part of an estate trust for which I am executor. The fact that I live in Northern California exacerbated the situation even more. I would not have a lot of time or proximity to the property to fully stay on top of the sale. I felt our situation required an experienced realtor, who we could fully trust, who would be knowledgable to deal with the complexities of the trust sale, and who would be decisive, and take charge. With Jose Morales, we had all of that and more.We selected Jose among three realtors that we interviewed. He came to our interview fully prepared with local comps and with ideas on how to show, price, and market our listing. Jose was fully professional and knowledgable, yet had the patience to understand our special situation and listen to our concerns and sensitivities.After selecting Jose to represent us, we had a single, very focussed meeting to wrap up details on listing price and how the property would be shown and marketed. We found his marketing strategies to be creative and technically state-of-the-art to take advantage of on-line marketing tools. Jose also had resources that he could recommend and direct in our absence (very important as I live 300 miles away from Camarillo) to cover any aspect of getting the property ready for listing. Within a week, we had the property prepared and listed.After an aEURoeopen houseaEUR? on the first weekend after the property hit the MLS, we had multiple offers within 2 weeks, and settled on a buyer and price that exceeded the list price by $30,000. Jose was very thorough in providing us with profiles of all potential buyers, so that we could select a buyer whom we knew would love the property and would give it the love and respect that it deserves. We all felt that that we had found ideal buyers for our situation.
