Shannon and Jodi were amazing! Most important reason why you might love working with them (by personal experience) : work ethics.They will NOT allure you towards the most expensive house in the market you can afford. Personal story. It is our first scavenger day. I AM sold on a house, on the higher end of our budget. Shannon and Jodi have masterfully picked 5 houses (the one I loved and their personal 4 favorites) for us to see on day 1. One of these 4, the LOWER priced one, is well within our budget but a tad smaller than what we are looking for. I am hesitant but Shannon and Jodi insist that we see it and see how we FEEL about it. And it feels GREAT. Greater than the house I was sold on (yes, we went there too).On that same day we put an offer on the smaller house. And have loved it ever since. Just like we have loved our agents, because you DO need someone that has YOUR back when buying a house. That will tell you-with no bias-what will and will not work for you in a house. And hold your hand in the process. Now when immaculate work ethics (and everything else you're looking for in an agent) go along with a positive attitude and a bright smile...That's an irresistible package! No better way to start a new life :)

We relocated from FL to TX. Due to special financing needs (my husband is self-employed from the perspective of most underwriters), it took us 15 months to get to the point that we could actually put offers on homes. During that time she put us in touch with someone that she knew had some creative financing ideas (which did not work out, but she was absolutely our advocate during that time).Shannon stayed in touch the entire 15-month period, modifying our search criteria 3-4 times, resetting site passwords, and even showed us houses when we were in town (but not yet ready to make an offer). When we were actually ready to make offers, Shannon explained the crazy market we were in and provided solid recommendations on how to make an offer that would be accepted by the seller. WE LISTENED TO HER. In very early 2021 we put offers on just 3 homes (one of which we were quite confident we would not get because our max was too low). The home we bought had 8 offers, 4 of which were cash -- ours was not all cash and was not the highest offer. We heeded her counsel and our offer focused on what she felt would get us the house (but would not be considered stupid-risky for us). She also talked to the selling realtor (and thus the seller) and 'talked us up' as solid and honorable buyers.After our offer was submitted Shannon kept in touch via phone, email and text to make sure we were aware of local standards, next steps etc. We closed in just 30 days, in part because she pushed hard to keep all parties coordinated and moving towards closing.Without a doubt I would recommend Shannon to a buyer!
