I can't recommend Dee Dee enough - in fact she is absolutely one of the best real estate agents I've ever worked with. We recently completed a difficult home purchase. From the outset, doing this while living in Europe was probably going to be difficult regardless. We faced several issues, the largest of which was the fact that we couldn't attend the closing. We needed a remote notary to create a power of attorney (legal in Texas for years). Neither the title company nor lender were willing to permit this thus threatening to scuttle the deal. Dee Dee wouldn't let it go. She knew it was possible and took the argument to the lender (many levels above the underwriter who had refused). To her credit, she got a concession to accept a remotely notarized POA. She then went after the title company and got them on board as well. Amazingly she did all this on a severe time crunch literally right before the contract term would have expired.And in spite of all this she had a positive, never give up attitude the entire way, very impressive to say the least. I am still stunned she was able to pull this off.
