After 7 months on the market, I finally sold my house!! Who would have thought it would take so long? After all, selling a 1800-square-foot colonial house in one of the best neighborhoods of Shrewsbury should be easyaEUR| Alas, the houses steep driveway is too much for the average owner these days, it seems - even the young and healthy ones! So, yes youd have to shovel, snow blow, salt and get winter tires. But hey look at that fabulous 25 feet long deck overlooking the woods, listen to the soothing sound of the cascading fountain beside the houseaEUR|.can you imagine yourself in the summer on your lounge chair with a book, sipping a drinkaEUR|Apparently notaEUR| the months spent dealing with permits that hadnt been properly filed from previous owners, an AC unit that broke without reason, and cabinet colors unsuited to millennials, among other things, made the sale a seven-month-long drag full of emotional ups and downs; for my bank account, mostly downs.Thankfully, I had the good fortune to have Adam Adam Sinewitz as my real estate agent. Not all things can go wrong! Adam held 8 open houses (!), and tirelessly contacted potential buyers agents for feedback after the multiple showings we had. He never gave in to reducing the selling price too quickly or too low, showing a respect to his client (me) that I deeply appreciated. He showed great negotiation skills when offers (a few) came in, which all fell through for unrelated, unforeseen reasons aEUR|Heck, when I finally had enough and was ready to sell at a lower price, he pushed for a higher counter offer, and we got it!Adam was extremely supportive and responsive throughout the whole process. He always returned my calls/texts promptly. His recommendations for contractors for the few things I had to change/fix saved me both considerable time and money. Thank you for all your patience and hard work! This was a tough one!I would recommend Adam in a heartbeat, especially if you are looking to sell/buy in the metrowest area!
