Debi and her team very clearly work for you and are on your side. Not only does she know the area extremely well, but she can help you find a match not only in your price range but also for your lifestyle preference...family neighborhood, close to work, quiet and peaceful or great vibe and excitement. Debi had helped us both buy and sell a house. She even gave me information that was critically helpful and advanced the sale of my Mother's house which was in a different state from Alabama. She flawlessly keeps up with you well after the closing and even opens her home to you as a welcomed friend. One of her most unique characteristics...and I've never seen this in any other realtor...she becomes a student of you. When you walk in a house to "ooh and aah", she is watching your reaction and can detect subtle changes in your mood. She can tell what immediately pleases you and catches your eye. She can also detect if something is not to your liking or if there is some concern and she will ask you about it. Debi is great in helping you see beyond what is right in front of you. For example, one house we looked at and I really liked, she pointed out that it was close to a busy street. She asked me to see if I could hear the traffic inside/outside the house and if that was acceptable to me. I want a realtor who has the courage I don't have when negotiations become sensitive. I also want a realtor who can see both sides and advise you according to what you need and want. Debi has calmed my fears more than once and offered encouragement and reassurance.
