Buying: My wife and I met Laurie Hassey as a result of searching for homes on Zillow. Wanting to downsize and find a good house for retirement, we entered our desired size, price, etc in the Zillow alert filters. One of the houses from that query was a listing by Laurie Hassey, so we made an appointment with her to see it. That house didn't work out, but we were both impressed with how Laurie focused - she listened and helped us consider things we had not thought of. After walking away, my wife and I discussed how much we appreciated the agent we'd met, and consequently decided to ask Laurie to work with us as we continued our search. We ended up finding what we feel is the perfect house for us. Laurie's advice was invaluable in working through all the steps and details of buying the house. Our best description of her is: solid knowledge of real estate, responds to calls/questions quickly, and very pleasant to work with.Selling:Initially we planned to rent our previous home, but when our plan changed, we called Laurie about listing it. We wanted to do some upgrading before we listed, and she had tips on what improvements would make our home more marketable. Additionally, she said that she had teamed up with two other experienced agents, Layne Lundeen and Claire Durand and that they would all work together to sell our home. They all went to bat for us and did an amazing job: staged our house with their furnishings, brought in a professional photographer, and did a beautiful job with the online listing. This was followed by open houses and advertising in Homes and Land magazine. All of the steps of our sale were handled in a professional manner, and we were happy to sell quickly in what is usually unproductive time of year for our location. After our experience with buying and and selling with Laurie Hassey and the Tanque Verde Trio, we wholeheartedly recommend them.
