Over the last 30 years, we have purchased 4 homes and rented 4 homes. That's a lot of moving and a lot of experience with realtors. None could match Erin Heilig's professionalism and expertise through the sale of one home, the search for a temporary rental, and finally the purchase of our current home. Erin always gave the impression that we were her only clients. She got to know us quickly and personally, and was always quick to respond to phone calls and to send details of any property that interested us. She has a great eye for what buyers want to see and provides expert guidance in prepping a house for sale. That eye translates into impressive knowledge of what to look for, and to look out for, in a purchase as well. Erin coached us through the preparation of an old 125-year-old house we had lived in for 13 years in Philadelphia. When the house went on the market, we ended up with a full price, cash offer moments after the first showing. This was in 2017 before competition for properties became as fierce as it is now. We held back on that offer, and by the end of the day we had sold the house to another buyer for tens of thousands over our asking price! Her negotiation skills are the best in the business. After the sale of that property, Erin helped us search for a rental, and then patiently worked with us for two years to help us find our next home. By this time, competition in the market was hot and Erin went to bat for us again, this time as buyers. She has great intuition and coached us through how best to structure our offer in the midst of steep competition for a great house. She reached out to the selling agent to make sure our offer was being noticed, and to ethically do all she could to make sure our offer rose to the top of the sellers' interest. We signed the agreement on our current home just one week before the Covid lockdown happened and closed a couple of months later under a tent in a parking lot. There are not enough good things to say about Erin Heilig. In the end, home buying and selling is complicated. It's highly emotional, but also all about maximizing return on a sale and minimizing expense on a purchase. Erin's professionalism is balanced by the warmth of individual concern, and in the end friendship. We could not recommend her highly enough. We are confident that no one would be disappointed in their experience with her.
