We greatly enjoyed working with Anna Mackler, as our buyer's agent. Anna combines a strong knowledge of the value of a prospective home with a good understanding of what a given neighborhood has to offer. She has deep resources with whom to connect buyers, spanning lenders, home inspectors, local contractors, and title companies, and all the contacts in these areas turned out to be top-notch. She also worked well with us in the negotiation phase, including helping us to obtain an important seller's credit at closing with which to do some needed upgrades. The settlement process at the title company was also very pleasant, and included the seller and the seller's agent, as well as the title lawyer, and Anna's role in helping to make that happen in such a cordial way was much appreciated. Finally we should add that we are relatively new to Maryland, having recently moved here from the West Coast, and so having a buyer's agent with Anna's local insights and connections was even more crucial to us. Anna Mackler is a gem, and we highly recommend her to prospective buyers.
