My family and I have relocated from Houston, Texas to Appleton, Wisconsin for work. The relocation policy allowed for a 5-day trip to Appleton to find and purchase a home, so effective and efficient use of this short time frame was crucial, notwithstanding the fact that we had absolutely no knowledge of the market in Wisconsin. Quite by chance, we met Shelly de Bruin at an open house and felt an immediate connection - she had similar personal experiences and understood exactly what we needed. Shelly wasted no time in creating our search parameters, setting up multiple appointments for the next few days, and worked many hours to ensure we viewed as many homes as possible while we were in town. Because we had to return to Texas prior to completing a purchase, she set up additional viewings via video calls. We were successful in finding our dream home and, because of the distance involved, Shelly continued to go above and beyond to help us navigate the home purchase process. Relocating from such a distance is a daunting experience, one which was made smooth and seamless due to Shelly's attitude and abilities. Shelly made it easy for us to tell her what we wanted/needed in a home, which is a very important part of the process, then find that home for us.
