We met Mandy while she was selling a friends condo. I didnt buy it but she agreed to represent my wife and I as I relocated back to Northern NJ after a 7 year hiatus. Anyway, even though I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the area since I grew up here, I did not realize how competitive the market had become. We met in late 2018. After getting to know us, she got a pretty good grasp for what we were looking for - a good deal - impossible to find in this sellers market. Mandy was super and patient in dealing with us. We looked at flips (both completed and the kind where you work with the developers), short sales, houses, condos, town houses, etc... All we wanted was not to get too ripped off and to have a 2 car garage in Essex County area that is close to the Parkway. Anyway, since I work nights and my wife was still working in Chicago, she would stay up late, organize conference calls, and was clutch when we were bidding on houses for me. She introduced me to a great lender who I also really enjoyed working with. We got into several bidding wars sometimes with literally 10 offers over asking price. We found a house we loved in another neighborhood, Belleville, and when I wanted to offer an obscene amount over asking, she was honest and brought me back down to earth. We won the contract but had to walk because of a aEURoestorage tankaEUR? issue on the property (it was an oil tank but we had a horrible environmental contractor). She was patient and stuck with us through two months of gridlock with the sellers.When my friends, family, and neighbors noticed a house around the block from where I grew up was being renovated and flipped aEURoeby seller,aEUR? Mandy was dynamite! She got us into contract by only having to pay marginally more than asking price, which in Glen Ridge, is unheard of! We finally got our good deal! She was an amazing point of contact person while we were in contract. The seller was extremely animated and very proud of his work. He got pretty upset with our requests after the inspection report. However, Mandy kept a civil dialogue open and the seller did a lot of repairs we requested! The house appraised for well over what we paid for as well. We started in December and just closed on our dream home a couple weeks ago. From a buyers perspective, I highly recommend Mandy. She works hard, is extremely knowledgeable, and trust-worthy. Justine, Patrese and Jeff put my wife and I into the home that we spent almost 2 years searching for between 2020-2022.
