Larry Barry is the man! Seriously, my boyfriend (husband by the end of the buying process) and I were at odds over what kind of home to purchase, he wanted smaller and I wanted bigger [I know, typical, right? ;-)]. Larry Barry was patient and showed us everything we requested, even the ones I told him I wasn't going to buy, but just HAD to see. We eventually made it back around to the very 1st house he had shown us, which when we had first looked at it, it was listed at a price we didn't want to pay (foreclosure) and after making offers on 2 other houses, The price on the 1st finally dropped to the very top of what I thought was our budget. Then the listing got sold to another realtor even though we had accepted the previous counter offer on the house. Larry stayed on top of every offer made and also made sure to track down who the new listing agent was going to be so our house wouldn't get bought out from under us. (Showing his awesome networking skills!) Thanks to him, it never hit the market. He also went over the house with a fine tooth comb on his own before we paid for an inspection and gave his honest opinion about it. He also attended the inspections to make sure everything went smoothly. We ended up closing with equity. We also listed my old house with him. I did request him to list the house a little higher than he wanted to, but he trusted me and did what I asked. He sold the house without ever really listing it (at least, I never saw it on Zillow). All he did was put a sign in our yard and he started getting calls. It did take a while to close on the sale but that was not on him at all. We ended up closing for $1k under the list price! Larry Barry is a great communicator, keeping us updated all the time. Only a couple times did I have to request updates and that was probably just my nerves and stress. Super satisfied all the way around. Hopefully we are in our forever home, but if not, I will be using Larry Barry every time I have real estate needs!!!! Always felt he was on our team and was very trustworthy and honest. Highly, highly, highly recommend him.
