Due to a family situation I needed to sell my house of 20 years and move to a condo and that was when I met Jolenta. She was so very helpful - helping me ready and sell my house. We were able to sell very quickly at a price that was better than I had hoped. We also found a condo at a great price which I purchased. Jolenta has a thorough understanding of the housing market, is technologically savvy, using all of the most up to date tools to complete the process quickly and in the most efficient manner possible. She is tireless and passionate about her profession. She seems to be constantly striving to improve her understanding and skills in real estate. Recently I visited an open house at a condo in my same complex. It ticked a few more boxes so I decided to go forward with the purchase of it. I again contacted Jolenta and we were able to place an offer which was quickly accepted. We then put my condo on the market. I had an accepted offer (above asking price) in less than 48 hours. We will close on both of these in the near future. Thanks to Jolenta it has been a nearly painless process! I have recommended Jolenta to all of my friends and will continue to do so.

If you want an agent who is going to look out for your best interests, and not pressure you into purchasing a house that you dont want, dont go with Jolenta. We knew that we wouldnt find a ton of places in our price range with the things we considered most important, but we sure were going to try. We were very clear with Jolenta what our priorities were: Price, Central Air, Square Footage. After seeing a property that was a project and telling her that we definitely were not interested in it; we didnt have the time to put into making it a home, she continued to send texts pressuring us to purchase the home, even asking the selling agent how low he would go. When we repeatedly told her we had neither the time or budget to take on something like this, she told us we were wrong in believing it would take as much time and money as we believed it would. We found a home online that we fell in love with. According to the listings we saw, it had everything we wanted: A good price, central air, large square footage, a basement we could finish for even more living space. After seeing the house, Jolenta tried to talk us out of it, she said the sale would be difficult for numerous reasons, but that didnt bother us. We wanted to try for this house - bank owned and winterized or not. We told her what our offer would be. We told her that that offer was stretching us financially, and that we were ok with losing the house, we would just continue to look. She convinced us to go in over what we were comfortable with, because we would never find another home like it in our price range. It was a tough transaction. A lot of bumps in the road; no condo association, an issue with liability insurance, a burst pipe... but in the end, we came through and got the house. However, after being in the house for three days, we noticed there was NO AC in the home. We had no recourse because both the inspection and the appraisal said None under the AC sections... and we didnt notice. Jolenta also either didnt notice, or didnt feel like we needed to be made aware. Due to the known issues with the plumbing, we, as first time home buyers, were most concerned with that on the report. When we asked Jolenta about it, she said that we had used unreliable sources when reviewing the home listing and that it was our fault for not following up on it more before making the offer. Now, our budget is really stretched, and we need to spend between $3,000-$4000 to get a central air unit put in on top of everything else we had already carefully budgeted for. While Jolenta probably has good knowledge of the Madison area, is decent at keeping in contact with her clients, I do not feel like she had our best interests in mind. If you arent a first time home buyer, and you know what to be wary of, you may have better luck.
