I worked with Lisa as an intermediary. Bad idea, although I hired her first, then buyer. My best interest as the seller was not her continued obligation in the process. Lisa failed to write the contract in a way that would've protected my investment and failed to highlight certain important, negotiable items in the contract that ended up costing me more money in the end. On top of that, at the time of signing the listing agreement she failed to disclose that she is not a leasing agent, only sellers agent and buyers agent, knowing my intentions were to lease upon the sell of my home. Therefore, to secure a lease, I was referred to another agent in her office. Throughout the process she was a horrible communicator. I never received a reply to several text messages, and delayed responses to phone calls, only to be told that I didn't respond to her text messages either. As a professional you never argue or go tit-for-tat with a client. You offer an apology, even if you feel you're not wrong, which I never received. This has been a valuable lesson for me as a seller, and I will never work with an intermediary agent again.
