We had the pleasure of using Lynn and Glenn Garafola as our realtors in the sale of our home in Sparta, NJ this past summer. We had lived in our home 28 years, and had made the huge decision to move out of our "forever home" to be closer to our grandchildren in Colorado.As one can imagine, this was a very emotional time for us. We had finally gotten our house updated and loved it. Letting go was going to be a difficult step. Both Lynn and Glenn seemed to sense this, and they were very sensitive with their suggestions on how to stage our home and begin to see it through others' eyes, one of the key steps to letting it go. When it came to pricing, we obviously would have wanted more for our lovely home, but they knew what the market would bear.We had the house all ready for showing, the incredible photographer/videographer, Jen, did a wonderful job in just a short amount of time. The house showed beautifully online, and we even sent a note to Lynn stating we wanted to buy that house! Well, it turned out we were not the only ones thinking that. The couple who eventually bought our house saw it in a preview, and made the first appointment available, offering full asking price within 12 hours of the listing going online. This is how it happens when you have your house ready, set the right price and have the right buyer at the right time. We NEVER expected our house to sell that quickly, and Lynn and Glenn were very helpful, guiding us along the way with what we should do next. There were some issues that popped up, as happens with older houses, and Glenn had a very calming manner to help us through.Whether it was the staging, pricing, videography or marketing tools they used, the Team Nest Builders knew what they were doing. I would trust them to sell our house all over again if need be.

We had such a seamless experience working with Lynn, Glenn and their team to sell our home. We kept an open mind during a stressful time and listened to all of the suggestions given to us by the home stager. It really made all of the difference in the world because the photographers pictures looked like they came straight out of House Beautiful. Lynn and her team are marketing experts and were able to drive high traffic to our open house, generating several offers right away. Glenns attention to detail is impeccable! He was their to guide us during every step in the process to ensure things were going according to our timeline leading up to the proposed closing date. We had no hiccups along the way, and we really think that is a true testament to the professionalism of this team!

I was returning to Northern New Jersey for a job opportunity and has some fairly specific requests as far as finding a property as we are retaining our home in Pennsylvania as well. I would also say we are not the typical suburban house folks, having fallen in love with historic architecture many years ago. Lynn was unbelievable in her ability to take our needs, desires, and quirkiness into account and to understand us as buyers. She found what is probably the perfect town for us and a home that meets our needs and tastes on all fronts and stayed within our budget which is not easy task in NJ! Not only that, but she also guided us through all the steps with keen insight on the current market and with a good eye to future resale value. Her recommendations for support service providers were also awesome! Folks at my new employer are in awe that we were able to find and buy a house so quickly and without Lynn and Glenn I am convinced that would not have been possible!
