We met Chris Hvostal at an open house over 5 years ago when we were re-locating from NYC to Philly. Not only did he quickly give us a feel for a variety of Philly neighborhoods and homes, but also educated us on a range of homeowners' concerns. When we ultimately opted to rent, Chris stayed on our radar, re-connecting around the end of our leases to ask if we wanted to take another look at the market. Any other broker might be forgiven for consigning us to the 'do not call' list of clients, but not Chris. Not only did he keep us updated on his professional development, but on market conditions and real estate-related events. Chris has always maintained extremely high standards as a real estate professional, and we've come to trust his integrity and work ethic. Moreover, the people he works with and recommends have been similarly responsive and professional. We were delighted to have finally found and purchased a home with Chris' help this year. Though I'm sure we provided him some eye-rolling moments during our most recent search, he never lost patience or or tried to rush us into bidding for something we were not 100% sure about, or into paying more than what he thought was fair. His calls on value and future home issues were spot on. Chris stands out for his authenticity, values, work ethic and professionalism. His genuine interest in his career seems to keep him always curious and open to exploring questions we pose on various neighborhoods. We like how he is willing to see the pros and cons in very different areas, without losing sight of certain realities. We couldn't recommend him more highly, and we wish him continued success in his career.

If you don't read anything else just know that Christopher and Maddie (and everyone they work with) made buying our home (in another state no less) as painless as possible. You'd be doing yourselves a disservice looking anywhere else! We began reaching out to realtors a few months before we actually planned on buying a home because we wanted to see what we were up against, set expectations, and understand the type of properties that were out there. Until we were introduced to Christopher the realtors were fine, they'd probably do what they had to do but nothing else. Christopher immediately put us at ease. He had an integrity that was unmatched by everyone else, not to mention credibility as a knowledgeable expert in the field. He was gracious and patient with my gazillion, never-ending questions and available for all the key moments such as the inspection when we couldn't easily be on-site (again, out of staters). We found our (dream!) home on our first visit, which was meant to simply meet Christopher and start looking at properties. However, the reason we wound up with our home was that he was able to distill our very particular taste and requirements AND really fought to make sure we'd be able to see the property (which, again, was literally perfect).Thank you Christopher and team and just go work with them all now!
