We contacted Maria Byrd in June 2015 about becoming our real estate agent for the sale of our home. She promptly responded and arranged a meeting with us to look at our house and property. She was very helpful with suggestions to make our house more likely to sell, and was knowledgeable about some of the obvious building codes we would have to be in compliance with (such as our front porch needing a railing and the front porch steps needing replacement). Once we were ready to list, Maria brought in a professional photographer take pictures of the house and property. The photos that were attached to the listing were very impressive and highlighted the best features of our home. Once offers started coming in, Maria was very prompt about letting us know and giving us great advice on what to do (this is the first time my wife and I have been involved with selling a home). When a serious buyer made an offer, she gave us great advice on how to counter offer, and eventually a price was settled upon that both we and the buyer agreed with. There were some difficult problems that arose when it came to closing, but Maria bent over backwards to make this deal happen. She truly went the extra mile. I highly recommend her as a real estate agent.
