As a first-time home buyer, I knew I wanted to work with a top-notch agent to help me navigate the process. I asked friends for referrals, but I wasnt hearing any rave reviews. SoaEUR|I decided to start shopping online and viewing homes until I came across a realtor that stood out. Luckily, I didnt have to roam the St. Pete streets solo for long! My second inquiry was answered by Allison Mahwinney. She arranged a time to meet the same day, and she showed up on time, friendly, confident, informative, and just really easy to talk to. She spoke really highly of everyone on Becky's team, and I just had this feeling Id be in great hands. I hoped she would say yes when I asked her to be my realtoraEUR| and she did! Allison is an extremely hard worker. Shes always in showings and closings, yet she is somehow still always SO responsive and on the ball. I dont know how she does it! Allison was patient, gave valuable advice, and never made me feel like I was wasting her time (even on those days that we toured MAJOR fixer-uppers). She simply let me go through the process of realizing I needed to re-calibrate my search, and she helped nudge me in the right direction without being overbearing. She would point out structural issues, water damage, and other glaring issues. She gave advice in an objective way when I started talking about taking out a reno loan to knock down walls and construct additions.
