Sivan helped me in finding a perfect place in Philadelphia. tl;dr: For a newcomer, like myself, to the Philly rental housing market, Sivan is the best asset that one could ask for! Even for those who are familiar with the city of Philadelphia and the housing market, I could see Sivan adding a great value to their search.I had three hurdles to jump through:1) this was my first time searching for an apartment after living 4 years in a college dorm;2) I had to manage the entire searching process remotely, from Richmond, VA; and3) I had never visited Philadelphia and do not have any close friends from the city, so I had no knowledge of the city itself.Before being introduced to Sivan, my day started with checking cra***list, constantly refreshing throughout the day, sending an email through a black hole, texting strangers, and trying to schedule 10 different showings in a tight time frame, since I could only be in the city for just a couple of days.It was both time consuming and stressful.Sivan came to the rescue! After a 15-minute phone call, he 100% understood what my needs were. He swiftly set up my account to continuously get listing feeds in my inbox within 15 minutes of posting, so that I did not have to keep on refreshing and have it occupy me all day long.He also explained the competitiveness and high liquidity of Philadelphia's summer rental market and gave me every advice I needed to beat the crowd and to be successful.I only had half a day to work with him, since I was taking a day off from my work in Richmond, VA to drive up to Philadelphia. I requested to see 6 places and he managed to schedule ALL of them in less than 2 hours. Another amazing part? All 6 showings could be done in 2 hour, all around the city, so that I could be on my way down to Virginia with enough time. When I wanted to cancel some showings and substitute new places at the last minute, he made the adjustments right away to have the best list of showings. During the showing, he was not only knowledgeable about the properties, but also about the neighborhoods, groceries nearby, public transportation nearby, you name it (just like google, but better). He knew how to negotiate, what could be leveraged, and how to expedite the lease-signing process to eliminate unnecessary application fees and administrative obstacles.From the beginning of the process, which started with a 15-minute call, to the end of the process, showings of the properties, my experience with Sivan was nothing but pleasant. I give my utmost recommendation.
