I am nearing 70 years old and facing change is getting more difficult the older I get. We were moving from what we thought was going to be our retirement city, again to what I hope will be our final move, back to our home town. We started off with the challenge of having less than 30 days to find a home, and to close on it. In addition to being cranky about change, I also have some health issues which make it sometimes difficult for me to get around. Lori took my issues in stride and we began a fast search for our new home. We of course started off with the area of my choice, but could not find anything and before it was over, we had gone everywhere in Greenville and Anderson Counties looking for that special home. I had become discouraged as my time frame was closing in, and no home. Then on the very last day of our search, we found TWO lovely homes and had to make a serious decision! And believe me, it was a hard decision for me to make, and Lori was very supportive and helpful in my reaching a decision. Backing up a moment, let me say I learned the hard way that the market now is a strange one and houses sell very quickly. If you have interest, you must move quickly or lose the house. And that very thing happened to me a few times during our search, which was heart breaking at the time. But Lori pulled me up by my bootstraps, or more accurately described, my braces and walker and back off we would go. During the course of time waiting on inspection, appraisal, etc. we got deal breaking news about the house. I thought it was a lost cause, but Lori worked from her vacation, and saved the deal, to mine and the sellers satisfaction when prior to her getting involved, the seller was not negotiable. To this day, I dont know how she saved the deal, I just know she did, and our closing took place on time, as scheduled, within our a 30 day time frame, start to finish. I didnt even know it was possible to close so quickly, but I was working with a great banker and great real estate agent who made it happen for my husband and me. I couldnt possibly tell you the number of times we simply had to sign at the x. Once the decision to purchase was made, these good folks shifted into high gear to get to closing and pointed us in the correct way from that time to closing. They made buying a house a super simple procedure, and we know in reality its not so simple, but Lori takes good care of her clients and makes it easy for us, God bless her! I was a nervous wreck on several occasions but she held my hand and got me through. Never once did she express an unkind thought although I know she had to have her own ups and downs going on. Not only is her professionalism off the chart, but shes also alot of fun to be with. You will never feel like a stranger with her and she will take excellent care of you and make sure your needs and wishes are taken care of. She keeps up with everything for you. It was great pleasure working with her and I hope I made a new friend. Oh, and she likes cheesy fries and a doctor pepper!
