september 2020to set context: we were looking to buy a house in palm springs while living in san francisco. we were referred to leonardo and his team via a friend who had worked with them before. we had never been through the process of buying a house in california so we were looking for someone to partner with us through the entire process. the added complication to this was it was during the time of covid which meant leonardo and team had to take on added responsibilities.finding the house: we had no idea what to look out for, what neighborhoods etc. we briefed leonardo a week before arranging to go to palm springs for a weekend on what we were looking for. his first question was not about budget (to start with a distinction from others we spoke to), it was what was our lifestyle, what did we enjoy doing, did we entertain, were we going to live in it or rent it. when we arrived the following weekend he had lined up 10 houses over 2 days for us to see.because we didnt know what we didnt know, after each inspection we asked if he would buy the house and he gave his point of view on what he thought were the positives and negatives about each property. he asked questions about what we liked and didnt like about them so he was able to narrow down the selection so as not to waste our time.negotiation: once we found the house (which we got before it went on the market due to his connections and relationships) he worked on providing us comps, he gave us recommendations banks, he arranged for all the property inspections and then once the reports came back he provided guidance.closing: we werent in town for the closing so on our behalf leonardo did a final walk through the property checking off all the inventory that was listed in the contract. he noticed easement and boundary wall issues and made sure our risk was mitigated. we would never have known about these issues without leonardo and team.once it was over he never disappeared: we have closed and about to move in and he could have walked away weeks ago now but he hasnt. we were having trouble getting one of the repairs done, we called him and within 3 hours it was done.whenever we meet anyone and they ask who we worked with to buy the house and we say leonardo, everyone smiles and says we know him. whether its a contractor, an interior designer, a pool contractor everyone knows and respects him. that doesnt happen often.i would recommend leonardo and team without a doubt. he has his clients best interests in mind in the way he approaches everything. nothing is too much trouble, no task too big or small. why trust what im saying? i have never taken the time to write a review for anything or anyone.mark morris | tara back

Leonardo and his team are some of the best in the business! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing. He took the time to walk us through all the ins and outs of the area, explaining the pros and cons of everything from the side of the street a home exists on to the location North or South, to which grocers and local stores are nearest to us, and more. You can tell he truly loves what he does and he wants the best for his clients. His negotiation skills and instincts were spot on in dealing with the seller and seller's agent.We've purchased a few homes and this was, by far, the easiest and fastest transaction we've ever experienced. His business team was fastidious, not only reminding us of deadlines and the like, but they'd also call just to check in on us, knowing that this process can be stressful and emotional. We've already given his information to friends and family as they search for their future properties in the area. If we ever sell/buy here again, we will absolutely use Leonardo and his associates.

In deciding to put my condo on the market, there was no thought given to choosing a realtor other than Leonardo Montenegro. I was aware of his track record selling other properties in the desert as well of those in my condo complex. His knowledge of the market and of property values in specific locations is extensive. Given this, he can guide the seller to a reasonable expectation of what a given property will bring on the market. In my case, the price we set and the range of acceptable offers was spot on. My property sold in 4 days. And with the speedy closing the buyer requested, Leonardo and his crew were able to guide us through the maze of inspections and certifications and paperwork with ease. In short, the Leonardo Group is the epitome of a team you want working for you when selling a home in the Valley. I could not be more satisfied.
