We listed our home FSBO on Zillow and disclosed up front that it would be our pleasure to give a commission to an agent that brought buyers to us. Some of Zillow's "Premier Agents" acted like they were too good to work with individuals listing their home themselves and we even caught wind that since the Premier Agents show up on Zillow FSBO listings, that these agents would make false statements and were flat uncooperative when contacted about our home. On the other hand, some agents were good at their jobs and understand marketing and public relations, and Jody was one of them. From the moment Jody brought our buyers to us, we never had to "worry" if anyone was trying to get over on us, and most importantly to me, I never had to worry about the integrity and capability of the agent (Jody). Jody was so wonderful, professional, and knowledgeable, that we ended up making her our listing agent before it was all said and done. All I can say to those "Premier Agents" that thought you were slick is "your loss!" Jody knew exactly what we were looking for in a buyer and exactly what the transaction would entail. We sold our home within 12 days of listing it on Zillow, and the first buyers that Jody brought to us ended up being the folks who indeed purchased our home. From the night we listed our home on Zillow to the day we closed, it took less than 2 months. To sellers and buyers everywhere: don't let some of those wanna-be uppity agents try to get their nonsense over on you by saying your home won't sell on Zillow. Zillow was very worth our while, but I must give credit where credit is fully due, and that goes to Keller Williams agent Jody Simpson. Jody is a personable, gracious, no-nonsense kind of gal that I will recommend to absolutely everyone in the market. Whether you are looking to buy or sell, I witnessed first hand Jody's skills, and she is an Ace.
